The Sacred Trust of Leadership

Pastor:
Today we commit ourselves to embrace with our hearts and endow with our strengths the awesome privilege to serve The Holy Awesome Eternal. It is a sacred trust and a special gift of grace to be called into the service of God and God’s People.

Executive Board and Ministry Leaders
I accept the sacred trust of the People of Peace as my privilege to demonstrate my love for God and them through dedicated, effective, and efficient service. I acknowledge my need for their prayers and patience. I furthermore promise to represent my faith through obedience to the scriptures and therefore pledge my time, talents, tithes, and offerings to the cause of the mission of Peace.

Congregation:
Together we can and we will move forward in Exalting the Savior, Expressing love, and Eliminating the barriers that hinder our outreach to our community! As a member of Peace Baptist, I too ask for God’s guidance and Spirit to make me a representative of Redeeming Love.

As well, I will pray for our leaders, to be led and move under His Holy Anointing.

All:
God of Grace and Mercy meet us where we are and show us how to become more effective witnesses in our homes, among our family, friends, and neighbors. Help us to lay aside every weight of sin and surrender ourselves completely in Your service. Let there be no strife, no vainglory, no partiality, and none who become weary in well doing. Grant us Your power, peace, and the fulfillment of Your Purpose. Make us God… People engaged in activities of Community Empowerment!
